Settlement ~ Medical Malpractice ~ $45,000 + all medical bills - (2002)

My client was in a local hospital for treatment.

However, while being transported upstairs on a stretcher, an oxygen bottle was placed next to her and leaked against her upper leg. We alleged that placement was negligent.

The leaking oxygen literally bored a small hole into her leg.

Unfortunately, due to her other health challenges and her age, it did not heal well, and she developed wound problems.

By agreement, her medical bills, including home health care, were paid by the local hospital. In addition, we reached a settlement of $45,000.00 to help compensate her for going through the prolonged healing process.

This case never went to court at all.
