Confidential settlement ~ Medical Malpractice - (2002)

My client was having a baby, and she was very excited.

She rushed to a local hospital.

However, during labor, complications set in and her doctor was paged to come to the hospital. He did not come for hours, even after being paged repeatedly. We alleged that was negligent.

The hospital did not ask another doctor to come in and help. We alleged that was negligent.

Finally, the doctor showed up.

By then however, we alleged, that the baby had developed "Hypoxia" (a lack of oxygen to the brain) that came to affect her development. Her medical bills were almost $200,000.00.

The terms of the medical malpractice settlement in this matter are confidential, but signifigant.
