Eternal Life - guaranteed?

You have eternal life already...Do you know where you will spend it?
Eternal life in heaven or otherwise is the result of a one time decision (nothing else).

In John 3:1-21, a very interesting exchange occurs in the dead of night: A fellow named Nicodemus (I'll call him "Nick") sneaks up to see Jesus privately. Nick cannot be seen talking with Jesus, as he was a teacher and high official whose groups all opposed this revolutionary teacher named Jesus who claimed to be God.

Jesus, being God of course, knew the question he was about to ask and just answered it. What was his question? Same as yours. Same as mine. "what must I do to have eternal life in Heaven?"

The answer stunned Nick.

He must be "Born again." So must you. So must I.

It is not a path we follow, or the example of one time watery physical birth would not have been used. A path would have been used. It is an absolute one time event.

It is not what we do or do not do, or whether we are sincere in some belief regardless of what it is.

The answer the world needs is to follow John 3:15 and believe upon Jesus and Him only, for eternal life. How? Here is a prayer like I prayed years ago. If it is the desire of your heart, please pray sincerely. If not, please at least read the Scripture and ask the Lord to show you the truth.

Dear Jesus,
I realize that I am a sinner. I cannot save myself, and my way is not working. I want to be forgiven by you. You promised to save me if I would trust you. I know that you died on the cross to pay for all my sins. I know that you rose from the dead. I do trust you Jesus. Please forgive me of my sins, and make me the person you want me to be. You are now my Lord, my savior and my friend. Please help me never to be ashamed of you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

If you prayed, please email me and let me know it. Also, please see links to other information that you will enjoy now. Do three things: 1) find a good evangelical church; 2) read the Bible daily, starting with the book of John; 3) Get baptized as evidence of your decision.

Congratulations. I will see you in Heaven. - David
